What is Alpine?
Alpine park is a 42-acre conservatory with garden rooms and natural areas. As a developing botanical theme park, it is within select company for its uniqueness and has amenities for hosting Extraordinary Events in an outdoor setting.
What amentities are in Alpine Park?
Floral gardens, water features, trails, amphitheater,a covered partially enclosed Timber Frame Pavilion, restrooms and parking.
When can the park be reserved? Times?
*Reservations for special events are taken at anytime. *For reservations or appointments to view the Park call 573-443-7106 or e-mail alpinepark@centurytel.net . Usual hours for visiting are 9 am to dusk. Event time can currently start at 8am and run to no later then 11pm Friday and Saturday's. Sunday through Thursday is 8am to 9pm.
What size event can be accommodated?
For events requiring sitting: *Pavilion sits 150-200 *Amphitheater sits 200+ *Grounds hold 200+ The grounds can accommodate larger events depending on the nature and time of event.
What services does Alpine offer?
Event hosting, Bridal consulting & Event planning on site. Third party vendor referral network. Officiate referrals, Caterer services referrals, music referrals, floral shoppe with table decorations. We are a full service facility for your event and are more then happy to assist in meeting your needs or finding those who can for you.

Which hotels provide easy access to the park?
The Hwy 63 and I-70 intersection provides for several selection to choose from. Visit Columbia Visitors Bureau for hotel information: www.visitcolumbiamo.com
Are outside vendors allowed?
Yes and Alpine has amenities to assist each and everyone from refrigeration of flowers to a food handling area for caterers. As a fully functioning facility, Alpine can accomodate most needs for vendors or those who wish to do it themselves.
How much are Deposits?
A $600 booking deposit is required at signing and is applied toward the total invoice. Also, a $500 security deposit is required 6 months from scheduled date and is refundable and/or prorated upon cancellation. Refer to current contract for fee schedule and due dates.
What are the fees? Also, refer to pricing page and or packet.
Alpine Park rental starts at $400 per hour with a four hour minimum. The time begins when your invitation announces so. Decorating, dressing, photography and rehearsal times are complimentary. Staff, rental items and services are additional. There are packages available. Refer to Packet for package and rental items.
Is there space for the bride to dress? Groom?
Yes, a studio is available for bridal preparation and has mirrors, dress rack and a comfortable area to get ready. The antique setting gives a sense of tranquility as you get ready. Men have a room to accomadate them.
Can Alpine hold receptions and other events?
Yes, Alpine can be turn-key event to a hands-off event with oversight. As a park we offer alot of flexibility in hosting events such as fundraisers, family reunions, business or social occasions and meetings.
Can we bring in our own stuff?
One can bring in their own food, alcohol, music, decorations, etc. Our over-sight includes that everything is done properly and is done in a timely and professional manner.
What about weather issues?
Alpines' pavilion is a fixed roof structure that has a heavy white boat sail drape that allows us to open up one side or totally close it up. An attached enclosed covered deck and stage further buffers the event from the elements.
What about insects?
Alpine use citronella lamps throughout the park proper and are lite prior to events if set up with us. We, also use oil lamps on tables if arrange through us. The martin houses and abundance of fish also assist us with control.

Japanese Garden ? ( 9acres)
We are currently putting the finishing touches on the Gong House, and the Zen garden. The upper pond (1 acre) seawall and waterfall is under constuction with corresponding plantings and seeding to allow Mother Earth to heal itself before integrating with phase 2 the second pond (2012) and related infrastucture. A ceremony site is currently being created for 2013 use in this garden area. This is an ongoing creation of space that has numerous projects within a project being done and is taking shape for limited use in 2012/2013. Some of these items require nature to be accomadating and is the guiding force when things can be done.

Their are several vendors in this area depending on size and time. Shuttle vans are available from Rick's Taxi 1107 Rangeline Columbia, Missouri 65203 573-449-6282 ask forr Rick. We can arrange this for you with them. For buses we use First Student 573-474-9473 3511 Clark Ln. Columbia, Missouri 65202 474-9473. Mo-Ex - 573-441-1122 also has shuttle vans. Another good taxi service is Terri's
